Sssutt x 2
The intro to this track starts of pretty aggressive , the voice over is exactly like the intro to Tech N9ne’s Sickology 101 and comes of almost the same. The Production sounds pretty good to.
The songs starts of with what turns out to be the hook. Very catchy , yet still touches the gangsta approach. Kicks the song off pretty well.
Crooked I then comes in with the first verse, dropping a couple names and what sounds like to be a simple rick ross voice sample. Crooked I does what he does , the song is re-playable but
it’s also nothing spectacular , especially from a Crooked I track. The hook probably stands out the most.

I’d gives this track a 3.5/5 due to the production and catchy chorus , Crooked had decent verses , but like I said nothing great. The track is a good way to kick off the ep.

Pocket Full Of Money
The Highlight of this song is probably the weak bass to be honest , this is one of those songs were Crooked talks about being rich and stealing dude’s “bitches”.
Very un-original concept and first verse. The chorus then hits with “Pocket Full Of Money” repeated, nothing special at all. On the second verse it seems Crooked
is jacking Eminem’s “swag” coping those toilet/crap punchlines. Nothing note worthy in the second or third verse. This would be considered a filler , even though
it’s a EP it’s as weak as his material in Slaughterhouse basically.

I rate this track a 1.5/5, pretty much trash , nothing worthy of praising or mentioning for that matter.

Roll Call
Roll call kicks off with Crooked introducing Jay Rock , the beat then kicks in and it’s fairly annoying to be honest.
Jay Rock sounds pretty impressive on this track , on his gangster stuff. Definatly has some solid lines like “Murk your ass with my trademark , step on your set and turn your studio into a graveyard”.
Mistah Fab then comes on with a lyrically weak verse In my opinion , sounds like a weak verse Crooked I would have wrote. Nothing notable in his verse.
It then goes onto Glassess Malone , on some real OG shit. He has a decent verse , not much is really noticable , a couple name drops. Coniyac then has a verse ,
very fitting with the beat , nothing lyrically spectacular , but it’s a solid verse. Defiantly one of the best assets to the songs.
Crooked I has the ending verse , he does his thing , but puts chucks in a few multi’s in there , fits well with the production. Spits like he did on the shady 2.0 cypher imo. Solid verse.
I’d say Jay Rock took this track but Crooked I came pretty close to claiming it.

I rate this a solid 2/5 , you’ll see why when you listen to this song , it was an ok song , better execution then what Pocket Full Of Money was but it’s defiantly a weak track in general.

Diamond in The Back
Song starts with K Young singing, leading Crooked I into his first verse , From what I picked up the concept of the song is about
a Black man becoming successful and using himself and Barock Obama as a example. The hook is nothing spectacular , sounds pretty commercialized to be honest.
The second verse , Crooked I drops names , talking about fellow rappers personalities , I guess calling them fake. A solid verse, a lot better then the first.
The third verse is pretty solid , talks about his clique “COB” , a mom reference, then ends with K-Young singing finishing the song.

This song deserves a 2/5 , nothing spectacular , the highlight was probably the second verse , other then that it was kind of a drag.

Drum Murder
The beats kicks this song of , pretty aggressive and it thumps. Horseshoe gang are lyrically incredible , they start with the song with dope lyrics , multis and worldplay. Seems like they’ve improved from their first project.
Each member killed their verse , any fan knows what their potential is , and they hit it. Crooked I then comes in to finish the song with the final verse , kills it. He olds his own with the Horseshoe gang , on some heavy gangsta shit through out the whole song
Each individual had a good verse. Potentially the best track of the EP so far , neck in neck with Sssutt x 2.

Giving this track a 3.5/5 , as I said , each held there own , lyrically incredible. Nothing to fuck with.

No Competition
The first track to get released of the EP , got a little amount of buzz when it dropped. The beat is down right terrible In my opinion.
Not many rappers can perfect this kind of beat , unless you’re a “swag” rapper no one should touch this kind of production. This potentially ruined the whole song, because it sounded horrible.
It’s fairly distracting and it kept my focus of the song. Lyrically Crooked did what he did , he was pretty good. Had a few bars with double time , content wise it was average. He chucked in a few
Microphone references from the Slaughterhouse track. It sounded like he took the whole concept of the actual slaughterhouse track and did a Solo version.

I’ll give this track a fair 2.5/5, could have been a higher score if the production didn’t suck so bad.

Goin Bad
The track starts with KeyAna singing , pretty gangster , kind of carry’s the whole songs concept. Sounds pretty good , it kept me intrigued to hear the rest.
Crooked I comes in and basically he’s talking about being “Hood Rich” , talking about association with Gangs but living in a white “territory” type of shit.
Lyrically it’s impressive , entertaining, the hook adds the extra touch to the track so it sounds better. If you enjoy gangsta rap you bound to like this track.
I thoroughly enjoyed this track and it has replay value in my opinion.

This needs a 3.5/5 , one of the best tracks on the EP , it’s bound to have a few play counts in your Itunes library after awhile.

Game Time (Bonus Track)
The bonus track , awesome production. Defiantly has the chilled club vibe. Lyrically wise it’s nothing special, pretty boring actually. The Hook with Crooked is pretty catchy.
The concept of the song is basically putting COB on and carrying them. He uses more Rick Ross samples.

If this track was on the actual EP it could have made the project a bit better overall.

I give this track a 2.5/5 , great production , catchy hook. good concept but shitty lyrics to fit it.
Overall this is actually a solid project from Crooked I , especially for a “prelude Ep”. I found this EP more enjoyable then
his deathrow release “Hood Star” and has some of his best work. If you’re a Crooked fan or just a fan of “Gangsta Rap” I suggest checking this out.
Had a couple of fillers but nothing on it was extremely terrible or un-bearable besides the No Competition production.

I came into this with a open mind , not expecting what could come out of it due to Crooked I being sometimes Un-Predictable lyrically.

I give this project a Overall Score of 3/5
