[Review] Roscoe Dash – J.U.I.C.E (EP)

Track 1: I Do
This was an okay way to start the EP, Roscoe could have chosen a better song for sure but this one is alright. It’s really not one of my favorites from the EP but it is alright. The cons I’d say to this song is that it’s pretty long almost 5 minutes and since the beat is extremely repetitive along with the chorus I find it a little annoying. I’m not really into female Hip-Hop artist but K La was alright. Overall I would give this song a 2.5/5 like I said I’m not really feeling this track but you can listen for yourself and see.

Track 2: The Impossible
This is another track on the EP that I’m not really feeling that much, the first song I would listen to before this. I like Roscoe as an artist, I like his catchy and fast paced songs and this is not one of them. It’s pretty slow and not really something I can get into. I feel like after this song the EP really starts to pick up. Overall I will be giving this song a 2/5, again it’s slow, pretty boring, and doesn’t fit Roscoes category.

Track 3: Good Good Night
Let me start off by saying the beat is very catchy and this song is exactly the type of material I like to hear from Roscoe. This is a Kane beat and I enjoy it a lot. Along with the catchy beat the chorus is also catchy, I’m sure you have already heard this song or seen the video on MTV so there really isn’t any surprises here. I like the song and have since the first time I’ve heard it. This is definitely a hit song and is also a good club song. Overall I’d give this song a 4/5, like I said I’m sure you have heard this song already so there isn’t much to say about it besides this is what i like to hear from Roscoe.

Track 4: Sidity
This song features Big Sean and I have to say this is the best song on the EP, this song got leaked about a week before the EP did and it got leaked as a clean version, I was glad to hear this unedited version. It’s a lot better unedited and extremely catchy. As you know Roscoe and Big Sean both make catchy songs so both of them on this track together just kills it. This track will definitely become a hit song when it gets out there. Again the song is extremely catchy along with the chorus, I see this track topping some charts soon. Overall I give this song a 4.5/5, If you heard the clean leaked version of this song and loved it you will enjoy this one a lot more.

Track 5: Into The Morning
This song is very laid back and the type of song you can sit back, chill, and enjoy. It’s got a nice beat and chorus and quite frankly Roscoe does really good on this track. I enjoyed this song a lot and this was the first time I heard it, which was on this EP. I’ve seen this song before but never gave it a chance, while listening to the EP I did and I’m glad because I really like it. This song features Wale and his verse is pretty good nothing really bad to say, he flows with the song perfectly. Overall I give this song a 3.5/5, If you were like me and skipped out on listening to it before I suggest you do this time around.

Track 6:
I really don’t have much to say about this song, I think it’s alright but as far as that I mean it’s better than both the first 2 tracks. I myself like the song it’s not something I’d skip or anything but I wouldn’t consider it much special. Roscoe does an alright job like I said, the chorus is also alright again another chill and laid back song. Overall I’ll be giving this track a 3/5.

Track 7: Awesome
This was the first song to drop before the EP leaked. I heard this song awhile back and have always thought it was pretty dope, It’s very catchy the beat and chorus. Most of you Roscoe fans have probably heard this song already like I said it’s been out awhile so not much to say about it. If you have not heard it you need to give it a listen. Overall I give this track a 3.5/5.

I wrote this Review of Roscoe Dash – J.U.I.C.E (EP) because I see there isn’t much hype for this. Roscoe as an artist is very talented. I think everyone should check this EP out for sure just to see what Roscoe is capable of. Overall I give this EP as a whole a 3/5. It’s pretty good and I’m glad I gave the full EP a listen.
